Basic Needs Support
Purpose
The Basic Needs Support program at the University of Utah in partnership with the Center for Campus Wellness is designed to provide comprehensive support and assistance to students who are experiencing insecurity in any of the following areas: food, healthcare, finances, housing, childcare, tutoring, technology, transportation, legal, apparel and more.
This program provides confidential case management to help students navigate and build confidence accessing resources available to them on and off-campus. It seeks to empower students by offering personalized support and connections to relevant services both on and off campus.
The program also plays a crucial role in raising awareness about basic needs and promoting a campus culture that prioritizes accessibility, stability, and holistic wellbeing.
